Welcome to our inclusive and supportive Music Production Program, designed specifically for students with special needs, particularly neurodiversity, including, and not limited to those on the Autism Spectrum, students with ADD, ADHD, and/or Tourette’s Syndrome. Whether you are just starting out or have some experience, our bespoke class offers a safe, creative space to explore the art of music production at your own pace, one-to-one with a specialist Private Instruction mentor in Brooklyn and Manhattan, New York, or Online via Zoom.

Topics Offered for Students with Special Needs:

  • Music Theory: Understanding scales, chords, and rhythms.
  • Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs): Navigating and using software like Logic Pro, Ableton Live, or FL Studio.
  • Recording Techniques: Capturing high-quality audio from instruments and vocals.
  • Sound Design: Creating unique sounds using software synthesizers and samples.
  • Electronic Music Production: See this article on why there are so many neurodivergent people in electronic music.
  • DJing Electronic Music: Not available online, due to the nature of our hands-on instruction.
  • Songwriting: Understanding songwriting, including the structure of a song, common chord progressions, and different songwriting styles.
  • Lyric Writing: Learn how to craft compelling and evocative lyrics that connect with your audience.
  • Melody and Harmony: Explore the art of creating captivating melodies and harmonies that make your songs unforgettable.
  • Mixing and Mastering: Enhancing your tracks to make them sound professional.

We understand that every student has unique learning needs. Our course is designed with flexible teaching methods, sensory-friendly resources, and personalized support to ensure an engaging and comfortable learning environment.

Private Instruction

• 24-hour package: $1680
• Three-hour session: $300
• One-hour lesson: $120
• Add 50% for each additional person
• Payment plans available

Location in Brooklyn or Manhattan, NYC

• In our acoustically treated pro studio: Add $20 per hour
• In a writing room at our facility: Add $10 per hour
• At your home/studio/hotel/online: No additional fee, but reasonable travel costs may be added
