Electronic Music Producer Program | New York or LIVE Online

This Electronic Music Producer Program is designed for our next generation of music producers, ready to get serious with their music using Ableton Live, and take them from zero to music producing hero in no fewer than 120 hours of world-class training and mentoring, in-person at our Ableton Certified Training Center in New York, or LIVE online.

“I needed to brush up on something, so I called Garnish, as they have the best instructors” – Jamie Jones

Learn Ableton Live Suite from the ground up, covering everything you need to know about making music you love in this revolutionary DAW, and all of the add-ons in Suite, together with the best of Max4Live devices, dipping your toe into what goes into making a device, to give you a full understanding of what’s possible when producing the music you love. Discover qualities that distinguish us.

Unlike our shorter Ableton production course, there are strategically placed mentoring sessions, so you get time to work on your music with the help of a selection of mentors from our roster, which will not only help you assimilate the content but, with hard work, you should come out at the end with your very own project.

Working in small groups will help you to greatly further your skills in Sound Design and Production, whether the aim is to create FX for the latest high-budget computer game, build a multi-channel interactive installation or simply take your music production skills and sound to a competitive level.

Ableton & Apple Certified Training Center

Thanks to our exclusive licensing partnerships, we have assembled a range of specialized assets: synthesizers, effects, and samples for Garnish Academy and Producer Program students. These instruments and sounds allow us to teach producers, side by side, using the same sets of expanded resources. Our constantly evolving license-partners and content producers add thousands of dollars to the value of these courses. Many of these products are yours to keep. Others are free to use while you learn and are then eligible for exclusive upgrades at a fraction of their regular price.

You will need your laptop with Ableton Live installed. Contact us for hiring options, if appropriate. All Garnish students qualify got a 40% discount on Ableton software.

If you have any questions, feel free to send us a message.

Our Testimonials

I decided I wanted to go to the next level with production, I love learning in an intimate focused environment from dedicated teachers and Garnish had everything I needed to take me to the next phase. I loved each module and am already putting what I learnt into practice with my new live show and upcoming projects.

Aluna Francis (Aluna George)

Both instructors were extremely knowledgeable and gave a great intro to how Ableton works. There is only so much you can learn by watching videos online or purely teaching yourself without getting into bad habits. The lessons were taught at a good pace and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about music production.

Kieran Doyle

The course was pitched at the right pace for me, and I found it easy to keep up with the content. The instructors were engaging, experienced, knowledgeable, and pitched the content perfectly between theory and allowing us hands-on practice. They both also had no problem revisiting bits of the course if asked to make sure we had a handle on what was being studied. Whatever your style of music, the techniques and content have something for any musician, amateur or pro. I'm used to performing live with a band but now feel confident that when I'm working with producers or creating from scratch in the studio. I know enough about the concepts and theory of production and how to make ideas a reality which will hopefully take me to the next level - great job, Garnish!!

Chris Dietz

This was a very well organised course, information given at a pace that seemed to allow a lot to be learnt without it being overloading or boring.

Gary Schofield

I feel like I have come out of the course with a lot more knowledge than I thought I would!

Robbie Linstead

I would never have discovered all this by myself. A well-structured course with quite simply brilliant instructors.
